What’s a good and cheap preconstructed Magic the Gathering deck to buy for two players?
Should I buy the same deck twice to make the game more fair, or buy two different decks from the same release period? Also, where should I go to buy them? Thanks.

Buy two decks from the same set. It will be more fair for all parties involved and easier to find cards that go together. Get different decks though. What fun is it if you know your opponent’s strategy? I suggest you wait a few weeks until Lorwyn comes out. It has 5 theme decks instead of the usual 4 and all look pretty fun. Here’s a preview page for them-http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/arcana/1402 We won’t know what’s in them for another week or so.
Almost all are da same???
if you want fair, you should buy the same deck twice
I’d suggest the Boros pre-con from Ravinica (RED-WHITE) it’s very good. I bought two of them and just slapped them together to make a really good deck.
Buy them from a local independent game shop. They need your business. And are more likely to have the Boros deck than a Fred-Meyers, Wal-mart, or Target.
From my experience, buying 2 different decks for just 2 casual players is efficient. There’s diversity for more fun.
You can swap or rearrange the colors & abilities. I suggest picking opposing colors to add contrast: Red-Green vs. Blue-Black, White-Red vs. Green-Black and so on.
Now if the players like to Mirror Match or build a stronger Tournament-style deck, then buying 2 of the Same deck is more preferable as you’ll have more materials to build a better stable deck.
