At times it is so Bad ! // it is funny how the pregnant girl never really has morning sickness or continues to "show" or has craving — the director has no idea what that period was like in the rural West (during 1940s wartime)
its production design was awful — it is a textbook example of a production that was underfunded and was based on a book/short story that is preposterous for the time period of 1943 or whatever.
I do not recommend it
