I just broke up with my boyfriend of over two years and it was so hard because I loved him so much, but it just wasn't working and I don't think he even realized that or cared. I'm not really sure what you should do since my guy was also my first real love and I'm still trying to figure things out and am also seeking advice. For me, I'm not going to contact my boyfriend at all. However, if he does contact me, I don't think I could help but talk to him. I'm not saying it's the right thing to do though. You should do what you feel is best. But if you really feel your ex suffers from depression, cutting all contact from you completly if he tries to contact you isn't good because he could go suicidal.
