How can you make a “christian” magic system for a fantasy novel?
Have any ideas on how to make a christian magic system based on biblical spiritual "miracles" or spiritual gifts that resemble magic. I have a christian hero who is learning how to use "spirit power" which is basically good magic that comes from the "great one" and the bad people use this power that comes from the "evil one" (since real "powers" in this world come from God or the Devil). Give me a good Biblical list that can be made to look like a magic system that must be mastered by faith (that produces good "works") and an evil magic system that uses fear to produce evil works.

well you can use enochian magic, also known as angel magic , Enochian magic is a system of ceremonial magic based on the evocation and commanding of various spirits. you can also use some of the weapons that the archangels used , such as Michaels sword, and holy fire of the cherubims, you could also use the light of the seraphims in which no one evil can stand it.
as for evil magic you could use the powers of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, you can also use the seven deadly sins which depending on the sin will grant you a different power .

My idea would be magic circles and sigils that have things written on them. They could be used to summon angels or demons. They could be used in other ways such as binding and enchanting items. An example would be a triangle within a circle that could represent the trinity. It could be used to bind something. The incantation for it could be something like: In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, let nothing pass through this barrier.

the only thing I can think of is the invisible weopons of spiritual warefare and spiritual gifts, liek healing, discerning of spirits, prophecy, and goggle the five fold ministry. Also the invisible weopons of ephecians 6.
Well, first you should read "Camber of Culdi" by Katherine Kurtz. She does an excellent job there of doing exactly the kind of thing that you want to do.

Look up Enochia/Goetia, Gnostics… most modern-western magical paths sprung from the christian faith in one form or another. The book "The Occult Tradition" makes a good historical argument for this.
Plus, most divine magic in fantasy comes from praying to a god for magic. How can that not be "christian"?
More difficult would be a path that requires virtues espoused by god or the bible, such as humility, pacifism, et al. In most fantasy worlds, this would be suicide (see The Way of the Leaf in Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time as a good example), but with faith, and a god aiding them…
It’s much tougher to make it truly christian instead of simple "this good/this bad" dichotomy most people believe christianity to be.
