Whats the purpose of making a magic memory stick for psp?
what exactly is the purpose of making a magic memory stick in detail? i recently modded my psp with games and custom firmware, and i bought a 16gig mem stick as well, and i was wondering will i have to make it a magic memory stick just as i did with the first one in order for it to read my emus, games, and custom made themes?

The magic memory stick is strictly for installing the custom firmware. Once this is done, you can delete all the installation files from the memory stick. You don’t put them on your new memory stick unless you plan on reinstalling custom firmware.
What you need to do with your new 16GB memory stick though is format it INSIDE your psp.
To do this, put your new memory stick inside your psp and turn it on
Then scroll to "settings", hit x
Then scroll down to "system settings", hit x
Then scroll down to "format memory stick", hit x, select, ‘yes’, and hit x
After it’s finished formatting, then hit ‘o’ to back out, and your memory stick is now ready for you to put games (isos and csos), custom themes, and everything else.
