Have you noticed that talking to liberals is like talking to your ex-wife?
No matter what you say or do, you’re ALWAYS wrong.
No matter what she says or does, she’s ALWAYS right.
No matter how carefully you circumvent all her standard excuses and evasions, she ALWAYS thinks up some new excuse to tap dance away from the question and turn it right back against you and SKEWER you with it over some total lie that she just makes up on the spot?
Then you end up spending the next hour arguing over the totally outrageous lie she just invented, and you never get back to the original question you were talking about?
Nothing ever gets resolved except that you’re ALWAYS wrong and she’s ALWAYS right.
And little things like facts and logic NEVER even enter into the conversation, and even if they make a brief appearance they are immediately tossed out by some new barrage of lies and total insanity.
Did liberals learn from ex-wives, or was it the other way around?

Don’t talk to liberals.
–Ridicule them
–Harrass them
–Publicly embarrass them
–Hunt them down
–Dismember them
But talking to them is a lot like appeasement.
I’ve never professed to be "always right". And since I have never had – nor will ever have, since I am not homosexual and live in a state where gay marriage is out of the question – an ex-wife, I can’t say that I would know that end of your argument.
And you can’t prove an opinion as correct. To do that, it would have to be a FACT. So I guess you are bumping your head against a wall, because everyone thinks their opinion is the correct one, don’t they??
Actually the description you give reminds me of ex-husband’s not wives. I think they learned from the ex-husbands.
My ex wife is liberal!
She hasn’t held a job in 25 years. The government supports her and has paid for her retraining 4-5 times now. She’s a thief and a liar, too. And she uses a lot of drugs.
Maybe. It seems to me like talking to republicans is like talking to my highly-ideological, emotionally-stunted 16 year old nephew who hates everything but himself.
but of course, YOU are always right and WE are always wrong. that is how people like you see things and it is truly sad. you can never admit to being wrong either, yet we are somehow remiss for having the same failing as you. this is what the entire internet is like, actually. no matter where you go or what is being discussed, the vast majority of people are exactly the same. whatever the subject, they will never admit that they are wrong about anything, ever.
And talking to conservatives is like talking to a wall, and about as interesting.

As with any marriage, My wife and I argue sometimes. But being shes conservative, She can admit when shes wrong. I can forgive her rare liberal brain farts.
