Can someone give me somes tips for defeating Ultemicia (end of game) in FFVIII?
Okay let me give you a briefing of everything.
the GFs I have are Ifrit (high level), Shiva(high), Cactuar (level 42), Quezactol (high level), Diablos (only on level 14) and thats it.
My problem is I’m low on a lot of my good magic spells Forget about haste I dont have any left, Curaga forget about it I did draw a lot curas from enemies via the portal though..
Items wise its not like I have a lot of heros or exlirs left very few i think i only have 1 or 2 exlirs at most.
Squall is on level 64 the others are at a lower level I did junction magic and whatnot but what can I say I go into battle with Ultimecia and she wipes me out pretty quick. I did once get to the second phase of the whole battle but then it goes downhill from there.
So to sum it up my magic and items are at a minimum making the battle very difficult. Any advice/tips?

Use Cerberus If you got him. Use Aura so you can use Limit Breaks.You can use Draw to get spells. Just walk around hitting X and you will pick then up. I think thats how you do it, it’s been a long time sence I have plated. Go to the last ialand to the left of the Galbadia Missile Base, or the island just to the right of the Chocobo Forest in the north east. Walk around the whole island along the coast. That is where all the spells are, along the coast, not inland. You will get Triple, Aura, Ultima, Flair, Holy, Meteor, Full-life,Quake, and Tornado spells.You realy need Doomtrain and Eden to win this fight.I would go back and get them first, then come back and fight. But Cactuar might be your best bet right now. He should do 4,000 points of damage if he is level 42.

she’s tough even though i got all gfs….. her attacks will damage you up to 9999….. so i did was…… i always cast all defensive spells..(protect, shell, triple..etc…) especially hero since it will make your party invisible….. so if your low on magic, better get back to the portal and stock up…… and eden with high level will give good amount of damage making the battle easier..
