Does saving yourself for marriage include not having cyber sex?
I’m trying to figure out the exact boundaries of virginity. My pastor told me it includes oral sex and hand jobs, but he didn’t think it would include cyber sex. I want a second opinion just to make sure I won’t end up in hell over this. Thanks for your input.

First, if your pastor told you this is OK, you need a new Church who has a pastor who teaches from the Bible, the Word of God, which teaches any type of lust and self satisfaction in a sexual manner is a sin. I guess it should not surprise me that your pastor said it was OK because it is prophesied in the Bible that the Church is on the way out and that some pastors are not really Christians. Ask God to take away your desires and to lead you to a good Church. If you are truly a Christian your purpose is stated in Romans 8:29 – to become more Christlike and to be guided to this by the Holy Spirit. I would certainly check out a new Church.
Yes, don’t have cyber sex! or phone sex for that matter. It’s the age old question, how far is too far? It’s like a steep 1,000ft. cliff without rails, you don’t want to go anywhere near that edge, lest you lose your balance or the ground fall out from under you or whatever, just bad. Don’t go past kissing before marriage.

If one believes that the breaking of the hymen is the only thing worth considering sacred about virginity, then there’s no telling what other asinine and childish behavior will be considered sacred. If someone is cybersexing instead engaging in regular sex, it’s time they started practicing sex as an adult and stop playing these silly religious games. Acting like a child but using adult logic is still childish.
