How can hair grow where none was growing before, such as on your neck or back?
Hair seems to move as you get older…such as for a man, leave your head and suddenly sprout up on your back..how can that happen, because it was never growing there for 20 years before?
In consideration of hair growing very finely over you whole body, and not considering the affects of shaving area thickening the hair in an area….how can a patch to nice full hair just sprout up and start growing on a quarter sized area on you back?

There is actually hair growing on every square inch of your body but most is a very fine hair. If you had the area shaved for a tattoo or something it will grow back thicker or it could just be genetics finally making you a man embrace your hairy back.
hair growth is affected by hormones in your body. the hormone turns the fine hair thicker, and darker. males get more of this hormone which is why they have more noticable hair. while usually the hair growth hormone hits its peak during puberty, its not unusual for it to increase later on in life causing hair on your back and other places.
contrary to poular belief, hair does not grow back thicker/darker when cut or shaved. the tip is just flattened (rather than pointy) as a result of the shave, making it appear thicker.
