I broke up with my boyfriend and want him back?
We went out for a couple months.
I broke up with him last week, regret it now.
We have talked once since the break up, he wasn’t putting much effort in the convo
I know he cared about me at one point, idk if he does now.
But i would love to get back with him, how do I go about this?

What did you expect when you talked to him? For him to beg you to come back?
YOU dumped HIM. Of course he is not going to put much into the convo.
If you do get him back,I would suggest thinking before you act next time.

i would like however your talking to him like just say that like you made a mistake and tel him that you still care about him in that way and just see how he responds.if he feels the same way then see if he wants to get back together.
