Is it wrong to date someone when you still hope to get back with your ex-boyfriend?
I am in my 30′s and 1mo ago my ex-boyfriend wanted to end our relationship because we live on opposites sides of the country. I have recently started to date someone, but I feel that I’m using him as a replacement to get over my ex. I still have tons of feelings for my ex and he still calls a few times a week. Is it wrong to continue to date this other person?

yes it is, because your dating him for the wrong reasons, im sure you wouldn’t want to be used like that. Its fine to still date your ex cause it sounds like you love him. but dont hurt your current bfs heart by using him

Get over the ex, date a few new guys and find someone who lives around the corner to start a new relationship with.
Well you can date him and see how it goes. If you know after several dates you are still not over your ex, them don’t date him anymore. Also, your ex should not call you until you are over him completely. Its not fair to you.
no, not really, if you are really open to that fellow he will help you see things differently. and it will help you move on if you guy do alot of things together for fun. he can help you get the other guy off your mind. if you keep up with being clingy of the memories of ur ex it will hurt the new relationship and you can loose a great guy who can do better thigns for you. guys are not all the same. you need to move on. if staying in the past will mess up your life as well.
You need to break it off with one of them. Sounds like the ex is sending mixed signals. Tell them to stop calling you as you are trying to make something work with someone new. If that doesn’t make the ex want you back then you have to cut him loose. Give the new guy a chance, you may find out you actually like him. If there is no spark, then cut that one loose too. Take time for yourself before you jump into another relationship.
Well, dear, I am not even in high school yet but I watch shows were this happens. Maybe you should wait before dating someone else if you are that sad. Or ask you ex-boyfriend to get back together with you. I personally think that, although they are tough, a long distance relationship seems more romantic. Letters of love………… The fact that they are taking time to call you when you are on the other side of the country seems sweet to me! Tell him this and maybe he will get back together with you. If he realizes how cool long distance relationships are, maybe he will reconsider!!!
