I would suggest being very careful, some want to stay close mentally so they can get close physically when their girlfriends are out of town… when he left me, we barely talked. now we’re best friends, and explained that most guys try to stay on good terms with their ex’s because they expect benefits. to the guy, usually its just sex. but from personal experience, women tend to think there’s something more than just physical needs being tended to by the first chick to answer her phone.
