How do you stop a maltese from barking?
Hi! Heres my question:
When we play, we play a game called ‘try to get the hand’. It’s where I shake my hand at him and pull it back fast, and he follows my hand. But sometimes, when I raise my hand far above my head, he barks at it. Really loud. What should I do??

That is some bad behavior you are teaching your dog.

I hope you’re not one of those people who ask a question and then don’t listen to the answer. I believe your dog is telling you that he doesn’t like his "toy" being taken away, which would be a normal thing to do. Why are you doing this? Hands are not toys and next you’ll be complaining that he bites at your hands all the time. Use a real toy instead, and stop teasing him. Try to be smarter than the dog.
