Okay. Me and my boyfriend broke up and i broke up with him and about a month later i figured out that he wasn’t cheating on me like i thought he was so now i want him back really bad how do i get him to like me again we talk as friends and stuff but i don’t know if he will want to go back to dating? after i broke up with him if he is scared what do say to him that will make him know i wont hurt him again please help if you have anymore suggestions then type them down i need all the help i can get thanks for taking you time to read this!

You can’t really blame him for being scared. I mean, you accused him of something bad which he didn’t do. You showed him you don’t trust him & then you betrayed HIS trust by breaking up with him over something he didn’t do. The best thing you can do in this situation isn’t to expect him to believe you when you say you won’t hurt him again, because he will likely be thinking, "will she break up with me the next time she thinks I’m doing something which I’m not doing?". The way to prove to him that you are sincere is to earn back his trust. You do that by being sincerely remorseful & apologetic for hurting him & by not just saying you’re sorry, but by acknowledging to him WHAT you did wrong & telling him how hurtful you know that was. Then you ask him to please forgive you & to give you another chance to show him that you do indeed trust him & that you want to have the chance to show him just how much he means to you. Tell him you understand if he doesn’t trust you not to hurt him again, but that you hope he will give you a chance to earn back his trust. He may or may not accept what you say & take you back, but at least you will have done all you can. There is not much to say. Just put yourself in his shoes. It would take time to get over some assumptions like that. You broke his heart and once that is broken it is hard to start over.
