Using white magic to break up a couple? Is it possible?
My friend is being, in a way, abused by her boyfriend and used. She is unaware of it and me and my friends who care for her have tried to tell her, but she doesn’t understand. So, as Wiccans, we have decided to resort to magic.
Now, don’t warn us of risks or that we’re "going to hell" or any of that nonsense. We know all the risks. We also know this can be considered Black Magic and we may end up getting bad karma back at us, which is where we need help.
We think we might be able to use White Magic to make her see his true colors, and give them both courage so that they both have the bravery to break up with one another… But would this still be Black Magic?
Tell me any suggestions. We really need help! We don’t want her to get hurt…

What you really want is to know your friend is safe, well-cared for and happy. You could attempt a ritual around that and see how it goes,
I can see how "breaking up a couple" could be trampling on their free will and personal sovereignty. Beyond that, you may not be aware of spiritual-based obligations or agreements between these two.
PS, I am not Wiccan so this is just a general observation.

If she is being abused, why haven’t you called the police?
In Wiccan "thealogy," breaking somebody up, and especially someone who doesn’t want to be broken up, would be considered outside the pale of the Rede.
No it isn’t possible. I know there are those who think it is, but it isn’t.
If you think you can use magic for this, you are right, you really do need help.
Don’t interfer is my best advice as a wiccan.
Just let her know that she is your friend and you are always there if she needs support. No magic white or black needed.

How can you friend be going through abuse and not see it? This is the year 2009, not 1976. There is no such thing as black magic or white magic. Evil is evil no matter how you put it. You want to help your friend to see the light. Seek counseling for the both of them.

maybe your magic will work but just in case u need to get her out of that situation another way. tell ur parents or anyone u trust. dont just rely on your religion!

Yes, instead of trying to break them up just cast a spell to help her see the truth. That wouldn’t be considered black magic. Black magic is when the result of your spell is negative for at least one person. So just as long as your spell doesn’t hurt them, then you’ll be okay.
nope your going to want black magik for that. just remember to clean your aura after performing the spell otherwise it can cause holes in the aura which can allow darker entities in to your life.
their is no danger in working with black magik as long as you prepare yourself spiritualy ignore what wiccans say i have NEVER had a dark spell come back on me.
There are white magic spells to help end an abusive relationship, but they have to be done by one of the people in the relationship, in other words, she would have to cast the spells herself. Using magic to break up a couple, no matter the reason, is gray magic.
(It’s not black magic unless you’re trying to cause harm. Spells that interfere with things you technically have no right to interfere in, like command spells, some love spells, and certainly anything that would break up a relationship, fall under the category of gray magic- they can have negative consequences, and those consequences will come back to you if they happen.)
If you think the situation merits the risk of using gray magic, try casting a binding spell on him to keep him from harming her.

magic spells can are effective actually. all you have to do is believe in your self and be cooperative for the rituals your going to do. Just remember that everything has it’s cost.
