He got a job on the other side of the country and he promised that he would atleast try to make the relationship work. He was gone for barely a week when he called to tell me that the new job was very stressful and he wasn't going to be able to focus on the new opportunity and give me the time I need and deserve. When he first left it was very difficult for me but I began to realize that I can't call him all the time and text him,to just show him that I support him 100% and allow him to have some space. I would only call him in the morning and leave him a voice mail wishing him luck and telling him that I loved him. When he called to break up with me he started the conversation as if nothing was going on like if he wasn't planning on breaking up with me. We were making jokes and just catching up on our week apart. Then he broke the news it was emotional but still we continued the conversation like if we were just discussing our future as a couple. I told him exactly how I feel and what my plan was to show him that and he listened and agreed with me on certain aspects. I know he broke up with me but the way it happend and the conversation ended it didn't seem like a break up. My plan of action is to just give him a break and allow him to miss me. I don't plan on calling or texting him for at least a week Valentines day is just around the corner and I will be wishing him a happy V day but thats it.
