whats wrong with the sims on my laptop?
Well i have the sims deluxe edition on my laptop and its been fine , i have been able to play it with no problems. But today i bought the sims making magic and i could play it then i exited it. 10 mins later i click on it and it said that another versins of the sims has been found please uninstall so i did. Then i reinstalled the sims deluxe edition so it reinstalled so i started playig it…but it only gets up to adjusting emtional weight then it goes back to the desktop and said sims deluxe edtion has stopped working.
I tryed it several times and even restarted my laptop but its still the same…..i even uninstalled it and reinstalled it several times…wats wrog with it?

put the makin magic CD in not the delux one.
whenever i got an expansion pack i had to put the latest expansin pack CD in, not the original
Maybe it’s pirated that’s why and you might have turned on firewall. If it still doesn’t work go to modthesims2.com and you can fix it.
first uninstall ur stuff in laptop and restart the laptop . then reinstall the sims if it still does not work try to download sims from net or u check setup files in sims in c: and try to install and please giv me best answer by voting me
maybe its pirated
Why dont you try to defrag your laptop.I also have encountered this prob when try to install the sims2.Wat i did is try to defrag my computer so it be more efficient while running all programs.Try it.if this method didnt solve your prob….Well ive got to say,,idont know other safer method than this..only this i can help you..
