In Sims 3, my daughter moved away. Is there any way to get her back?
I randomly got a call on my Sim’s house phone; it was my daughter calling to tell me she found a "great job opportunity in another town" and I’ve never heard from her or my 6 grandkids again. Do you know if there is any way to visit her or bring her back? Also, she doesn’t appear in my phone listing anymore.

You have to go to the Sim’s courthouse and file for custody. A Sim’s judge will set a court date for about 3 months from now. A Sim’s social worker will visit your house. Don’t have any Sim’s booze laying around.
If you can get to her, or get her to come to your house
do this:
ctrl+shift+C
add to household
- adds the active sim to the current household
