I want a purity ring……?
My mom says that I should just use any ring but I want one that says something like "True Love Waits" I have just read a great book and all of the book all of the girls were christian and wore purity rings and after a little research I realy want one I have already promised to save myself till marriage (i did a long time ago) I am 13 and have no way to get money but REALY REALY want one I want my friends to ask and me to tell them I am saving myself for marriage How can I get the money for it, and I dont just want it to be there I want to have a special time with god read a few passages and pray do you know of anything I could read or anything I want this to be a special thing between me and God

Good for you, I’m glad you’re one of the few girls who value and respect yourself.
Don’t listen to Mr. Hopscotch, he’s one of those guys that don’t like women that have respect for themselves. A bit of a jerk for a man, who’s acting like a little boy.
Why need a purity ring? Do you really need a ring to remind yourself not to have sex?
You don’t want the ring to be something significant to you and Christ – you want it to be something significant to your friends so they all talk about you and to you about your ring and how cool you are.
But they wont. They’ll be like "what’s the ring?" and you’ll say "not to have sex" and they’ll say "oh…okay" and walk away. They wont think you’re cool or really awesome, they’ll be like "look at that dork who needs a ring to know not to have sex until marriage"
my dad just got me a little gold ring when i was 16. if you want a ring like that, your parents are going to have to get it engraved somewhere.
I’m happy that you want to stay pure. people will mock and ridicule you for that…stay strong and firm in what you believe.

Many of them come with contracts that you sign as a sign of your promise to God. I suggest babysitting.
First of all I want to say good for you!!!!! If I ever had a daughter I would want her to make the same choice that you are.
With that said, perhaps you can look into babysitting? Or asking your parents to get you one, or tell them that you are willing to do chores for it. At my Christian Book store, they have awesome ones that say scripture on them, and are silver, they are only 15-20 % so comming up with that money should be easy.
Try to have a Car wash- and make a sighn ( Donate for my purity ring) or something. Good Luck and God Bless

i think it is a great idea dont listen to anyone but your self sometimes girls need to remember why they need one it is because teenage life is hard it is probably the hardest years or your life because people mock you for something you believe i am getting one too
im so glad people are finally saying that they will wait
