Im Confused about Custom PSP Firmware..?
Okay, to my best knowledge, i know that first you have to make a pandora batter, then a magic memory stick, then you pop those two into the psp and you can install the custom formware. Ok so first and foremost, you gotta confirm that for me. Is what i just said true? If so, how the hell do i make a pandora battery? Do i have to open up my psp? And how the hell do i make a magic memory stick?
I wanna get a custom firmware so badly. so i have some questiong. When i have custom firmware, are there updates for it, like there are with normal firmware? i wanna get all the updates that i would normally get withour CFW except with CFW. And second, what is the highest risk in making all of this pandora magic memory stuff. If i mess up, will i have to buy a new psp? Wat if i wanna stop using CFW?

Everytime Sony releases an update a new custom firmware comes out with all the update
the pandora battery the biggest risk is trashing a battery i guess, since pretty much any problems can be fixed with a working pandora battery
and if you want to quit using custom firmware you just download the official update from sony and install it
Yes what you said is true. Regarding the old (chunky) psp’s i’m pretty sure you have to open up the battery and flick something up inside to make this function work properly. But with the new slim psp i think you can just download the pandora battery software onto the psp and do it.
there are updates but i don’t think as regularly as sony updates and 99% games work perfect on custom firmware 3.90 M33-2 (newest to date to my knowledge) including the PSX game eboots (check the source regarding this is not known already) though with many games the version needs to be downdated in order for them to be fully compatible.
lastely, If you wana stop using custom firmware all you have to do is buy a spare battery and thus don’t customize it. or as android said just download the original firmware from sony.
