saying his exes sooo want him back…even though they are old and stuff now?
How do you shut a guy up, (that would be my husband) who says things like?
my ex soo wants me, or she woudl take me back (despite us being together for 4 years and them broken up since 05. Seriously its so annoying, he doesnt say it all the time but when we do talk about the past he says stuff like that, he says all his exes want him back..somehow i dont beleive it.
he is 41 years old and I am 28.

maby he is trying to make you jelouse, and just wants to see what you would say. tell him that it bugs you, and makes you feel uncomfortable. i wish you two the best of luck!
He is lying… he is just saying that to make you think you got something really good… hes insecure and needs to stroke his own ego. Your only 28, he knows he has something good… he knows hes aging…. so he has to do this to impress… but he doesnt realize its not impressing you, its annoying you and questioning his confidence….. its probably eventually going to be a big turn off… and rightly so. I would have walked the first time he mentioned this and would have said "go back to her then"….. life is too short for these stupid games… and with an insecure middle aged man at that… no thanx
It could be insecurities due to your age differences, it could be that your husband is vain, it could be your husband is delusional and deep down inside wishes his exes want him back. Whatever the case may be just pretend to roll w/whatever he says & act like you give a damn. Lol!
i am 42 and my wife is 26, so i can identify with that. i think that he fears he is going to lose his sex appeal and you will lose interest. you know, you could just ‘run into’ one of his exes…ha ha and come home and tell him how great her new relationship is and all…see if that don’t put a cob in his gob. the important thing is, that he wants to keep you, that’s what he’s trying to say in his wierd way. that he fears losing you to a younger guy. it’s a real fear. try to rerassure him that you love his old ass, even if he IS quite mature. it works when my wife does it.
