I want a purity ring……?
My mom says that I should just use any ring but I want one that says something like "True Love Waits" I have just read a great book and all of the book all of the girls were christian and wore purity rings and after a little research I realy want one I have already promised to save myself till marriage (i did a long time ago) I am 13 and have no way to get money but REALY REALY want one I want my friends to ask and me to tell them I am saving myself for marriage How can I get the money for it, and I dont just want it to be there I want to have a special time with god read a few passages and pray do you know of anything I could read or anything I want this to be a special thing between me and God

Do a couple babysitting jobs or "odd jobs" around your neighborhood(walking dogs, washing cars, etc.) to get the money.
I think it’s great you want to do this. Do you have a Christian/Bible bookstore near your house? If so, go there and the people can help you find what you’re looking for. They do make devotionals for teens. They are books where you read a scripture every day and just have some "quiet time" with God. They also sell purity/true love waits rings there. Good luck.

I think it is great you feel this way. It will be hard but worth it. I waited untill I got with my husband. He had waited to. We were both in our 20s. You could ask the people around your if they have anything they need done such as cleaning the house doing loundry, dishies or something like that. Good luck!

If you want one…Whatever its your needs that wont get satisfied.
If you really want to stay "pure" until marriage, just do that, the ring wont make much of a difference…But if you cant hold out, then it wont seem like your breakign such a HUUUGE promise.

That’s really great that you wanna do that. I’m doing it too. Apparently people don’t understand that the whole point of a purity ring is to stay a virgin until marriage *ahem, people above me*. You can do chores around the house for allowance, or just go around the neighborhood mowing lawns, washing cars, walking pets… And etc. Or you could sell old clothes and things at stores like Plato’s Closet or have a yard sale. All the little things add up!

get some clothes, use ur money for something worth it. if u wanna be absintent (i can never do that) just be it, why do u need a ring for that. by the time ur in high school everything changes.if u wanna be absintene be it, u dont need a ring to remind u of it.
Go girl!!! To know that someone your age is so driven to get a purity ring, it makes me so joyous and I know it definitely brings joy to the Lord too!! I’m guna keep u in my prayers and I hope u get what you need. Love the Lord with all your heart and keep yourself pure. It’s not as hard as many ignorant people think. I’m 19 yrs. old and I’ve been pure and will stay pure 4 both God and my husband. You can do it. Just always remember to “set your mind on things above, not on earthly things,” (Colossians 3:2) and you will be blessed
