What do you do when you don't want your dad to come back ?
I don’t want my dad to come back at all.. He was kicked out of our house by CPS from leaving bruises on us, yet he still has a chance at coming back. I honestly dont want him back. My mom never sticks up for us anymore, and i dont know what to do.

Tell anyone and everyone who you think might help at all. He should never even be given the opportunity to hurt you physically or mentally again. Get restraining orders for you and your Mom if you have to. Don’t put up with abuse EVER!
Turn him back into CPS the second he even raises a voice to you.
I don’t understand why your mom won’t stick up for you unless she is scared of him too,that would never stop me from protecting my kids.Is there another relative you could maybe live with? Something needs to be done to keep him out.
emily , he was wrong to hurt you and your family. and he was punished by cps by being away from his family. but he is still your father and there is real possibility that he is coming back. if he hit you and mom, why didn’t you file charges? you might still want to think about that. everybody deserves a second chance. he clearly needs to get anger management. mom still loves him. if he gets counseling and he changes, can you forgive him? can you try? no one should live in fear. are you in fear? or are you really mad that he did this. he has a problem and maybe he’s getting help for this. think hard about it. and be reasonable when you talk to mom. she’s trying to do her best. screaming and yelling will not get anything done.
Set up plans with someone. You need to find a safe house. Find a friend, family member etc that you can go to when the time is right.
