It sounds like the person the songs about lost interest in the other and is too afraid to be straigt up about it ,When confronted just says i had a bad day.Possibly on drugs cuz doesnt seem to want to take any blame.He /she needs to escape reality for a while ,take a break from the other the wants the other to take em back when he / she gets straight again blaming it all on a bad day. I dont know the song but alot of times if you hear it with music you get a feel for what the artist is trying to say .Hope this helps
