Why do married men cheat yet they do not want to leave their wives and be with the one they "love"?
I was in this situation before and often see many people in the same situation. Why is it that these married men act like they can’t stand their wives, cheat, tell the other women that they are the ones they love yet they will never leave their wives? Is it just cause of the children? Why stay will someone you don’t love and raise your kids in a home where the parents don’t love each other? Are these men lying, are they just bored with their sex lives or something?

Not all men cheat. Just 1/ 2 of them. They cheat with 1/2 of the women too.
I have never cheated on a girlfriend. And I would never cheat in a marriage.
Some of us guys have morals, self-respect and values. If there is a decent woman like that, I’m listening….

The men to whom you refer to are selfish, immature and a menace to society. This is why you should NEVER date a married man. This is what you get every time.
because guys like naughty girls but want wife material, so they do there best to have both.
They just want the best of both worlds.
Because those men don’t really love the women that they’re cheating on their wife with. They’re manwhores that’s all.
They are just being greedy, and getting what they want on both ends.
they need the sex and more importantly they want the companionship they once had with their wives. They are no longer "friends" with their wives but love them and dont want to leave them or the kids. They want a friend that dont bitch at them for everything they do.

I honestly think that if a married man tells you he loves you and that he hates his wife and cant stand her, ect he is lying…He will tell you anything just to bed you..He probably is happy with his wife and homelife but also wants some fun on the side(have lovers) and the funny or ironic thing is that he might even make you believe that you are the only one he loves and that he only has sex with you,ect but the truth of the matter is that you are probably not his only mistress..he probably has another lover besides yourself, plus his wife..Men would say anything just to get in your pants and stay there.
The wives are their safety net, as long as they have them, they don’t have to commit to you, and why would you want this man to leave his wife for you, don’t you know he cheats on his wives. I will be the other woman for the rest of my life, I don’t have to cook for him clean for him, put up with his family, ask his permission for anything, explain myself and best of all, when we have sex, it is because we want to.
Sometimes it`s a thrill…Most of the time it`s a symptom of a loveless, sexless marriage.

I think its because they need something different in their life, out of the ordinary and exciting. They may or may not want to leave their wives, but they need change.
They’re just dogs looking for a b**** in heat. Keep in mind that not all married men (or women) cheat. But the ones who do tend to think that being in a marriage shouldn’t keep them from getting involved with other sexual interests. They find ways to justify their bad behavior, usually by finding a way to blame the partner. "I don’t get enough sex." "You never make time for me." "You never listen and (s)he listens to me." "You can’t appreciate me the way (s)he does." "I don’t feel loved by you anymore." Different people choose to stay in the marriage for different reasons.
financial reasons, not wanting some other man or woman raising your kids, fear of what others would think of them.
I think it’s possible for people to love someone they are cheating on their spouses with, but the chances are great that they will probably never leave their spouses.
yes, some men lie to get what they want and are bored with their sex lives, so they cheat. this is also true of some women.
Because one offers wants and one offers needs. The wife ensures that he will have someone to grow old with, a wife means he won’t be alone. The side girl is there for some excitement and fun, there is a ‘spark’ of newness but he knows that there is no real future with the side woman.

I actually had a married man leave his wife for me; 6 months later I realized I didn’t really love him after all.
My husband has never been faithful to any woman in his life and I think it’s because he has a love/hate relationship with all women due to his horrible relationship with his mother. He thinks he loves the “new” woman because at the beginning she pays attention to him and show him love and affection like a mother.
Once she shows any sign of individualism or lack of attention (as in any relationship) through an argument or a discussion, he runs from her because he realizes that she’s not his “mother”! That’s why he cheats in his marriages; because once the kids, mortgages, house cleaning, and other life’ daily adult responsibilities come into picture, he no longer feels like a child being loved unconditionally by his “mother” and fleecy another woman’s arms who he thinks is his mother until he realizes that she is not.
Rejected, he runs back to his wife and kids, calling the other woman a “distraction”! It’s due to his lack of emotional maturity and childish manners that this cycle moves forward. It’s emotional abuse and as his wife, I’m out the door because I need a man, not a selfish lost child!
