How to help save marriage, way to improve marriage?

Wow where to begin….
You gotta work at it. Try to talk not fight about the things that are really important. Don’t sweat the small stuff. When talking about things that bother you get specific. Don’t be general and says things like you never listen to me. Instead get specific about what was not heard. Avoid the words "always, never, etc. Because no body really always or never does anything. Recognize each other when you do good things. Lots of thank yous go along way. A friend of mine told me that when on car trips they tell each other the things they did during the week that they liked. Believe me things like putting the cap on the tooth paste, taking out the trash etc are small. Just let it go. You have pick your battles carefully. It is ok to agree to disagree. Be sure to recognize when you have done wrong and apologize. And most important of all don’t forget the 3 little words that mean so much, I love you.

My marriage hasn’t failed, but some good advice that my wife and I got from a pastor we saw for marriage counseling was when issues come up in your marriage, sit down and talk about it. Don’t yell. Sit down and when you say what you have to say, your partner repeats back what you said to know that your partner understands what your saying.
One of the most important things to improve a marriage is keeping the lines of communication open.
Pray for your marriage to work it is a partnership and needs constant attention.
being in a marriage is all about two people working it out. of only one person is doing all the work then it was never a marraige to begin with. if he (or she) is not willing to do some work in order to make it better then it’s best that you move on. it’s not fair to you for you to do all the work towards making it better of the other person/party does’t want to do the work as well. relationships are a two way street.
