My jealous ex-boyfriend stole my ring!!!?
Actually; it’s my friend’s jealous ex-boyfriend who stole her ring.
She recently broke up with her boyfriend who lives in Pennsylvania. She lives in New Jersey. During their relationship, he took her 0 ring without her permission because he was jealous of her friendships with other guys. She wants it back but neither party wants to drive 2 hours to retrieve/return it. She asked him to mail it to her to avoid any physical contact but he refuses to do so and demands that she go to Pennsylvania to get it. He put the ring in the possession of a group of his friends that he calls "The Knights" so that she would have to go through them to get her ring back. The Knights consists of only guys who has verbally abused my friend on public forums such as facebook. Obviously, if she goes to pick up the ring she will be harassed or worse by the 20 guys in "The Knights". What can she do to avoid that situation and get her ring back?
To the person who said that the ring can be replaced; the ring has sentimental value since it was given to her by her childhood friend who passed away just last week. And now her ex-boyfriend is giving her "crap" in refusing to return her ring. Her childhood friend was a guy so that is why her ex-boyfriend stole it; he was jealous of their relationship.

A lawsuit probably wouldn’t be a good idea for $200, it will cost more probably to arrange everything.
I know it’s her ring, but she should just forget about it and move on. It is not worth something happening to her. If there are 20 guys, how many people can she possibly bring to be equivalent. If she really wanted she should drive down there and call the police and get them to come with her. It isn’t helpful if you call the police in your city because he lives two hours away, unless they really will arrange for something to happen. I’m not sure about the police in your area? Is the gas for a four hours drive worth it? He seems like a jerk.
Call the police and report it stolen with information on the whereabouts and identities of those who may have stolen it and who may be handling it…
Call the police. and/or forget about the ring. Material possessions can be replaced.
Call the police, and tell them about the knights, are they forming a gang or a KKK hate group?
Edit:
also she can get escort from the police too I think to retrieve the stolen ring.
