ok so my boyfriend broke up with me 2 weeks ago and i still like him. we were talking and thinking about getting back together then we didnt. Long story short:
My ex loved me, but I was insecure. After 1,5 years he ended it. I fell in love with him, I realized what I had neglected. He gave me a second chance two weeks later. Two weeks after that he dumped me again. He didnt feel anything he said. I cried. I called him the day after. It felt good to talk to him, as always. I said (but only kidding) that I would call again the next day. I didnt, and he called me. He said I was a manipulative brat! But he said it with humor while laughing. The next day he called, three times. He even called to say good night. I took care of his pet for four days. When he returned we ate in a restaurant, and went to my place. He sat on my lap while we talked. We kissed and I left for my 5 week vacation. I returned not knowing what he wanted as the signals had been mixed. I went to his place, drank some wine and it "clicked" for me. I needed answers. And now! He said he felt better off alone, not with me. I said we should have NO contact. He felt REALLY bad and convinced me to remain friends.
I stopped calling and texting him, and he sent me a text message 10 days later wishing me well and humorously saying I was strangely "silent". I answered. Today I called. We talked for 30 min. Nothing special, no "loving" vibes. Just friends. He seems afraid of sending me wrong signals again because he knows I want him. But he is still relaxed enough to talk and laugh with me.
My question: I really want him back! I have no longer expectations, just hopes. What do I do next. I said id start training 5 days I week. He said "Ive heard that one before". He has, many times. But Im serious now! To prove him and most important – me!

Extremely long story short, my boyfriend broke up with me three weeks ago (we only dated for a month though), with no explanation besides "I’m not as into you as I thought I was." ok, so here goes.. ill try and make it as short as possible:
My exboyfriend, and I broke up about a year and a half ago. While we were together, we bought a dog from the humane society for me. (He had a dog too and i wanted one i could call mine) He paid for her up front (in his name) and I paid him back in cash (no record). I had no clue what that horrible decision would lead to. So, a year and a half ago we broke up and i moved out (we were living together in his home).. i took my dog, Kaili, with me and she has been with me ever since… i have been taking very good care of her… im not sure if you have a dog, but my dog to me is like a real daughter, a best friend, a sister. She means everything to me. I even have a perscription from my psycologist for her so that my apartment complex would let me keep her. .. along with a pet deposit and everything.. so what i am saying is that there is proof that Kaili has been my dog for the past year and a half. ….
A few months ago, __ and i started hanging out again as friends. I would let him take Kaili on his own when i worked doubles so that Kaili had the other dog to play with and __ just lost his job, and she makes him happy. On February 15th, I took a trip to the keys where brad was, and didnt hang out with him, so he got his feelings hurt. Ever since, I have been dealing with his psycotic behavior. He started harassing and threatening all kinds of things (including taking my dog away from me) in text messages and emails. He has been doing the same to about 5 of my friends, my sister, my mom, my dad and my dad’s girlfriend. He even wrote a long letter pretending to be one of my friends to my dad’s girlfriend and it made her throw up. I have emails of him pretending to be me writing them. Each of my friends and family members have received over 50 text messages each. And thats not where it gets bad. I was told I should have filed a restraining order right away, and i didnt, and i still haven’t. I figured his behavior would die down and that by me ignoring him, that he would stop. But, it just got worse. About a week ago, I was working a double at work so on my break i took Kaili to my moms to watch her. after i got out of work, i picked kaili up from my moms house and brought her home to my apartment.. as i was walking to my front door (which is in the back of the apartment building) ___ came out of nowhere, running fast at me, wripped the dog’s leash from my hand and kept running with my dog! I had no clue what to do so i called the police. Basically they told me that this was a "civil thing" and that a dog is "personal property" and if the dog is in ___’s name, that he can do what he did. I explained to them that i felt assaulted and scared, that ___ literally could have been waiting hours for me in the dark b/c i get out of work at all different hours so he couldnt have known an exact time.. they told me the most they could do is escort me to his apartment or a place i know where he is and they can try to reason with him but they cant just take the dog back. I kept asking them "how is this not a crime?" "how did he not just assault me?" and they basically told me to take it to court or let him have the dog. They also told me that they couldnt do anything to me if i stole the dog right back.
SO… here i am now. i just got all the paperwork from my vets and i can come up with all the proof she has been MY dog.. but im guessing i need to go to court… i can use any advice on what to do next… there are two issues here, my dog and my safety.. do i go file a restraining order now? and then take him to court later? what do i do?? i am so lost and i feel so hopeless… I am not in the wrong in this situation but i feel like nobody cares to take on this matter. again, she is my daughter, i need her back. Please help me with whatever you can… maybe you know a good lawyer i can use??
any information can help. I would also like to stress the fact that i don’t have a lot of money.. i am not a dependent on anyone (including my parents) i am a single waitress with my own apartment so im not the richest person.

So, here’s my story..

I’m not saying that emotions are useless,but simply holding you from doing a certain action. I dint like to get personal, but i can tell you that i could do so much if i dint have any strong hold on my emotions.
I admitted to my husband, I slept with someone else and messed up last week after our five month marriage went sour. I told him I still loved him and wanted to save our marriage. He threw me out but then the next day relented and let me move back in on probation. I now have to report everything I do for the next month and sleep on old mattress in the back pantry as a punishment during that time. So I really am suffering, since its old and damp in there but I am willingly to do anything to save my marriage because I love my husband.
I have come to terms I cant fix things with my husband overnight, but whats bad our family is turned against me. His 17 year old brother who lives with us, no longer will talk to me and this morning said he doesn’t respect me at all anymore (it was his friend, who is 16, I slipped and cheated with). Before this ugly mess, me and my brother in law got along really well and were close friends. My mother in law thinks my husband should divorce me and leave me with nothing, and his cousin thinks I am a tramp.
The worst part is my stepdaughter. Shes 6 and she loved me like a mother (her own mother died two years back). My mother in law and brother in law are all feeding her crap that I am no good and she told me at dinner tonight I am icky for kissing another man. So really my family life is crumbling too pieces and I want everything back to normal. I am not ready to throw in the towel and be a 20 year old divorcee’. I am willingly to fight for my family and I need some good kind advice on what to do. Where do I start? How do I work things out?
DO NOT suggest therapy. I don’t believe therapy works and I believe its all a scam to make money off peoples problems. Advice is what I need.

We’ve had a pretty roller coaster relationship for about 5 years. I’d even call it emotionally abusive in the sense that he was withholding, jealous, and controlling. During our long distance phase he refused to visit me at all (he’s visited me once in all of our 5 years together) and often yelled at me if i accidentally called him at a bad time or would act annoyed that he had to call me.
At the time I thought that was about as good as it could get for me, so I stayed with him, though we’d break up and get back together constantly.
I broke up with him about 6 months ago because I couldn’t take his crappy treatment anymore. I’m currently dating someone else.
The thing is, my ex and I talked a LOT since we broke up, nearly every day (he’d call me). It wasn’t until I started dating this guy that I kind of stopped picking up his calls or calling him back. Usually my ex wouldn’t care but apparently he suddenly decided he wanted me back (again) and started doing his whole guilt tripping emo thing by telling me he wasn’t going to call me anymore so if i wanted to talk to him i had to call him.
I’d call him periodically every few days but he ended up getting super pissed a week later off about this lack of calling and threw a hissy fit, txting me things like “you aren’t worth my time” and “i’m done with people like you”. I’m not sure what his emotional status is right now but he drove down with some friends to where I’m going to school right now and wanted to “spend the night” at my place, to which i told him to gtfo.
ANYWAYS TLDR:
I’m so sick of this vicious cycle. What’s the best way to tell your ex that you just want to be friends without him going apeshlt? I’d prefer not to tell him about this current guy right now in his current state because a) he’ll be horrible about it and b) i don’t even feel like i have an obligation to tell him because he’s never been honest to me about other girls.

He is legally separated from his wife of over 10 years. They together have children, but she left him and moved to the other side of the country while he was serving in Iraq.
I have known this guy for almost 20 years since we went to HS together. It was only until he was divorced, that we actually met in person again after all of that time.
His ex-wife is extremely jealous of me now that things aren’t working out with the man that she ran away with.
I have never met her, but she has this opinion that the only reason my boyfriend won’t return to her is because of me.
That is not the case, however, he feels extremely betrayed that he left him like she did and was cheating while he was fighting in Iraq.
She is constantly on his case with him that he must leave our relationship and enter back into theirs (which was apparently miserable), because they are still technically “married” and they have children.
By the way, she ran away with this guy 18 months ago, and my boyfriend was in Iraq for around 15 months. He isn’t sure when the affair happened,.
Even though she wants me out of his life, I do have compassion for her. I know how she must feel, but yet she hates me.
