I think the man is a firefighter, but I’m not entirely sure.
And his father gives him a book, in which he has to follow to save his marriage with his wife. And each day includes little things he should do for her, which included doing stuff for her without her asking (chores and such), going out of his way to do something nice for her, getting up early to make her breakfast, etc.
And the man was previously obsessed about getting a boat.
And the wife is always trying to save up money for her sick mother; for some kind of special bed or something?
And she’s a nurse, I believe, and she starts flirting with one of the doctors there.
And the man uses his boat fund to pay for the bed-thing for his wife’s mom, but the wife thinks it was actually the handsome doctor (who had actually only paid about 0, opposed to the husband who covered the entire thing, equalling about 20k)
Apparently it’s sorta religious too.
Anyone know what movie this is?
