I know its long and all but please just read and tell me what you think of it.
Breaking Dawn
"Softly he brushed my cheek, then held my face between his marble hands. ‘Be very still,’ he whispered, as if I wasn’t already frozen. Slowly, never moving his eyes from mine, he leaned toward me. Then abruptly, but very gently, he rested his cold cheek against the hollow at the base of my throat." I devoured this book like a savoury meal, each scrumptious word is like one bight from a big bowl of deliciousness. Stephenie Meyer illustrates her words to draw you further and further into absolute wonder. Stephenie Meyer is the author of this brilliant book. She is best known as the author of the Twilight series (Breaking Dawn being one of them). Meyer was born on December 24 1973 in Hartford, Connecticut. Stephenie and her husband Christian now live in Arizona with sons Gabe, Seth, and Eli.
Breaking Dawn is set in Forks, Washington (real place in United States). Forks is very cloudy and always raining. These cloudy days provides more opportunity for Edward and other vampires like him to walk out in broad day light. They seem to “fit in” with other humans better this way as, to suppress some peoples curiosity that Edward and his family are not any ordinary family.
Breaking Dawn is about an 18 year old girl named Isabella "Bella" Swan. Bella is very beautiful with fair-skinned, brown hair and eyes, and a heart-shaped face. Unfortunately for Bella it seems that she is a magnate for trouble, obstacles and challenges not only in her own life but also to the lives of the ones she loves. You will absolutely fall in love with Bella and her wonderful personality. Though she is never successful, Bella tries hard to try to make everything seem normal, to camiflause the “magic”. Bella is the most wonderful person in the entire wide world, she is kind, generous, sencier and so much more. When I read this book, I felt like best friends with Bella, she makes you want to be better, to always reach out for more and to investigate the unknown. When Bella moves in with her dad she becomes absolutely in love with everything she discovers in her new town. Bella meets a vampire named Edward Cullen at school and falls deeply in love with him. Bella often describes Edward as impossibly beautiful. He has skin like marble, very pale, ice cold, and sparkles in the sunlight. Seventeen year old Edward seems to be the exact opposite as Bella. In his mind, he seems to fill the character of the troublemaker. A monster, he describes himself. Bella does not agree and perhaps that’s why she is with him still. Edward is a very interesting character because he is a vampire, he’s over one-hundred years old (as he never ages), he is impressively fast and strong, and if that’s not enough he can read peoples’ minds! Edward is the friend you wish you had when you felt scared, lonely or depressed. He can brighten up your day like color can brighten up a room. He is always saving Bella from the ‘evil’ she seems to attract and is always trying so hard to live at peace with humans (he finds so tempting to bight). Edward is indescribable, he is everything good rolled into one.
As time passes, and as Bella grows increasingly older by the second, her desire to become a vampire like Edward grows stronger. Bella wants nothing more in life but to live for eternity with Edward. Edward promises Bella to turn her into a vampire himself but only on one condition: for her to marry him. Bella agrees as she thinks little of the subject of marriage. They decide that after their honey moon Bella would become a vampire. During their honey moon however, something very unexpected happens. Bella becomes pregnant! If this were any other teenage pregnancy, tears of horror would be running down the girls face but not Bella’s. Bella never really though of becoming a mother, she was never really faund of children. But this was a completely different story, this child would be Edward’s child, she figured as excitement runs through her face. Bella’s and Edward’s half human half vampire child is very strange and grows at an alarming rate. Edward wants Bella to abort their creation as he is convinced that the child would harm Bella (who is still human). This does little to brighten up Bella’s face or damaged bones (as most are broken from the kicking of the baby). Bella does not agree with Edward as she often does. But Bella is dying, she is growing weaker and weaker as her infant grows stronger and stronger. Time is running out for Bella. Will Bella risk her own life in return for the life of her child? Or will there even be a child? Should Bella give birth? What will happen after? Read and find out!
Personally, I think that the message that Meyer tries to give couldn’t be more obvious. Her message is one everyone should have in mind through their daily life. The theme of this book is to always be open to new changes and to always expect the unexpected. A
