I don’t want my dad to come back at all.. He was kicked out of our house by CPS from leaving bruises on us, yet he still has a chance at coming back. I honestly dont want him back. My mom never sticks up for us anymore, and i dont know what to do.
going over there and taking him but they called the police on me and i cooulnt take him out of the shelters custody, okay my ex took my son away from me on 12/5 with out my permission, he ran to the shelter and has been there since, my son has a stable home here with all his stuff here i have his birth certificate, immuzations and other stuff im trying to file for custody but its a long preocess and i need him home now, i have our other daughter here he just took my son, can i call cps and tell them that hes living in a shelter when my son has a home to go to? please someone help me i dont have a record im clean im not a bad parent my ex is just using my son to get a place to live (the shelter only helps family with assistance to get a place) what can i do does anyone have experience with this? please help

I need help with my ex wife in respect to being able to have her raise my 16-year old daughter properly when she has her. She has primary custody of her but is not sticking to the custody agreement so I can try to continue to be a parent to my daughter. What are the rules in life and society? How do you get through to a woman that is so disconnected from reality that it seems that she is ruining our daughter’s chances at succeeding in life to keep her under her thumb. She does not believe that it is necessary to go to school every day and has allowed our daughter to miss so much school that our daughter is now in special ed and in continuation school because she is so behind. She has to pay fines to SARB and the DA and has CPS down her throat and they tell her to take parenting classes and therapy and she says she does not need it. She truly has mental issues. She lets her stay up all night on the internet and has even flown a boy that our daughter met online at 14 from the east coast to stay with them for a week when she turned 15! What mother does that??She buys everyone with money including her kids, and lets her get away with everything and tells her lies about me. She does not discipline her at all or set boundaries. She wants to be the "cool" mom with her and even my 19-year old daughter from another marriage (she is the step-mom). She lets my 19-year old drink even though she is underage and lets her boyfriend stay there with her. I am very against that, but she does it to be the popular mom and make me look like I am too controlling. My ex has gotten a DUI herself, is addicted to vicodin, and has done such a horrible job of raising her son from a previous marriage that at 24 he still lives at home, has gotten a second DUI and he does not know how to be responsible and independent. I want what is best for my kids, not be their friend. I cannot take her to court, I don’t have the money plus my daughter is going to be 17 this year. My ex keeps telling me and our daughter that now that she is going to be 17, she has a choice if she wants to come see me (and she even tells her she is old enough to drop out of school!) Any suggestions on what I can do?

i’m trying to get sole custody of my 7 year old daughter b/c she came home on 12-3-09 and told me he had slapped her in the back of the head (where she had 3 staples closing a cut she received the week before from a fall) b/c she didn’t stick with the lie he’d made up for her to miss school. he was supposed to drive her to school that morning but for whatever reason, decided that I should pick her up on my way home from work (he does this all the time) so he told me she hit her head on a car door frame and couldn’t go to school. when I asked my daughter about this, she told me that never happened and when her dad heard her say this, he disconnected our phone call. when I picked my daughter up from his house a few minutes later, she told me after he hung up-he yelled at her "why did you lie to your mom?" then hit her on the back of the head where her staples are then asked her "does your head hurt now?" I called CPS and filed a report but b/c I’m the ex-wife, they assumed I was doing this just b/c I was pissed at him and closed the case. I filed a complaint against the caseworker in because she NEVER called me to discuss anything and this was even after several phone calls were made to her office and me speaking to her superviser twice. after this incident, my ex showed up at our daughter’s school on a day that I TOLD him she was staying hom sick. he showed up to start a fight w/me when I dropped off my other two girls (NOT HIS KIDS). when I got to the school, I saw him on the front porch so I refused to get out of the car b/c things would just escalate so I sent my two girls into the school-my ex ended up harrassing my 10 year old daughter by trying to block her path twice and chasing her down a hallway until a staff member stopped him and made him leave.
I got an order of protection that lasted a month but the court overturned it b/c I couldn’t prove the abuse against our daughter and they wouldn’t interview her.
we had a hearing on friday to change custody where I requested the court interview our daughter b/c without the interview, a fair ruling could not be made. my ex got angry in open court,refusing our daughter’s interview but the judge saw this and decided to order the interview anyways. he then allowed my ex to keep our daughter for 2 days before the interview and told my ex he would be the one taking her to it!! this is all b/c he is listed as the custodial parent in our decree (a mistake on my part-he’s never truly been a custodial parent-I do everything for her medically and educationally).
I am worried my ex won’t show up for this interview today b/c it could incrimenate him. what happens if he doesn’t show up with her and she misses her interview?!! we don’t have another court date until 3-11-10
