We’ve had a pretty roller coaster relationship for about 5 years. I’d even call it emotionally abusive in the sense that he was withholding, jealous, and controlling. During our long distance phase he refused to visit me at all (he’s visited me once in all of our 5 years together) and often yelled at me if i accidentally called him at a bad time or would act annoyed that he had to call me.

At the time I thought that was about as good as it could get for me, so I stayed with him, though we’d break up and get back together constantly.

I broke up with him about 6 months ago because I couldn’t take his crappy treatment anymore. I’m currently dating someone else.

The thing is, my ex and I talked a LOT since we broke up, nearly every day (he’d call me). It wasn’t until I started dating this guy that I kind of stopped picking up his calls or calling him back. Usually my ex wouldn’t care but apparently he suddenly decided he wanted me back (again) and started doing his whole guilt tripping emo thing by telling me he wasn’t going to call me anymore so if i wanted to talk to him i had to call him.

I’d call him periodically every few days but he ended up getting super pissed a week later off about this lack of calling and threw a hissy fit, txting me things like “you aren’t worth my time” and “i’m done with people like you”. I’m not sure what his emotional status is right now but he drove down with some friends to where I’m going to school right now and wanted to “spend the night” at my place, to which i told him to gtfo.

ANYWAYS TLDR:

I’m so sick of this vicious cycle. What’s the best way to tell your ex that you just want to be friends without him going apeshlt? I’d prefer not to tell him about this current guy right now in his current state because a) he’ll be horrible about it and b) i don’t even feel like i have an obligation to tell him because he’s never been honest to me about other girls.

So I broke up with him, because I couldn’t take any more of him ignoring me. Not in the sense of him not answering my calls or anything, but more like no romance. I understand that chivalry is somewhat dead, but even still, I felt nothing from him. I didn’t feel that he wanted me, that he cared about me, that i deserved anything. I try and talk to him about what im feeling, but he brushes me off as "moody" or "making a big deal out of nothing". he understands that we have had a major communication problem for the majority of our relationship, to the point where we would sit for hours with nothing to say. He knows everything about me, my past, my secrets, everything, yet I hardly know anything about him. I’m still struggling to figure out who I am, but he knows me well enough to actually want to care about me. in contrast, i am afraid of going to him when there is a problem, because even though he has told me that he wont do anything to me, im still afraid. i don’t know him.
he wants me to be happy, to the point that i have to tell him everything. i don’t know what i want for breakfast, how am i supposed to know what makes me happy. but still, if i want something, he would get/do it. and that annoys me, because to me, it seems like he doesn’t want to make my life easier by just getting/doing it, but waits until i tell him. everyone knows that all girls presents, yet i have to tell him to get something for me for my birthday, for valentines day. he says he can change and give him a second chance. but know one changes that fast. and why do people have to change to make a relationship work, why is it that people cant fall in love with someone just as they are, with their flaws, and faults, and imperfections. im hurt that he doesn’t understand any of this. but it doesn’t stop it from hurting.

Well she’s a sophmore in college and I’m a freshman we were going out since September and broke up in December and it was really stupid, because I can’t remember the reason, but it wasn’t serious like cheating, deception, abuse or anything.

I hope anyone can give me some advice on this…

I have done things with a girl ( my best friend), and it was hot and I liked it a lot better than with guy’s. I’m going to a new school this monday, and I don’t want people to know right away. If people ask I will tell them I am, but I want people to accept me for the way I am.

Ok, So I met this guy online and met him about a week later and we hit it off like magic. We get along well, never fight and never argue and things have been going great. In the past, he has been through a few bad relationships where girls would say they love him and in reality they dont, I have gone through the same thing. He tells me all the time that he loves me and is in love with me and wants to be with me forever because Im the best thing that ever happened to him and he couldnt be happier. I feel the same way, however, there are some downfalls that really make me question how into this relationship he really is. I have friends on different chat networks that I used to talk to on a daily basis, I mean afterall they are my friends! Recently, he has made me sign up for facebook so he can show me off to his friends, I agreed and downloaded facebook. Now, every time I am at his house he is constantly hounding me and asking who I am talking to and half of the time its no one because I am doing college classes. But, he is constantly texting on his phone, talking on different chatting networks with his friends and yes, some are girls that he talks to. I dont think this is very fair and I bought it up to him and he got a little upset so I just let it go.I live 2 hours from his house and we both agreed that we would go 50/50 with travel and so far I have done all of the traveling to his house and everytime he tells me hes coming to my house something always comes up to where he cant come and I always end up going to him, I dont have a problem with it, but its annoying to me. He also talks about his ex gfs alot, how the sex was and what their relationship was like. I have no interest in hearing this but if I bring it up he gets mad if I tell him to stop. I am a virgin, waiting until Im married and hes always getting on my case some about it. He respects it, but annoys me with it sometimes by bringing up what his ex used to do even though he hates her. Lately I have been telling him that I love him, and I do. Well…I had a bad week last weekend regarding my SBTX hubby bcuz I guess I saw him and I got very emotional. Its been over a year and the pain has eased up, but yet I struggle sometimes. Well I was talking to my dad and I was telling him about my SBTX sexual behavior. About how ever since he’s been back from Iraq he hasn’t been the same. At first I thought he was nuts, but you know how sometimes your life flashes before your eyes, like all the signs quickly come into play. All the signs were there but I didn’t see it. I thought my husband hated me but he doesn’t. For instance, he would say that I deserve someone better than him, he left me by saying he wanted a divorce over the phone, the fact that his family doesn’t know him, I thought I did but I don’t. He said that he fell out of love with me, but I figure the reason why is because he is deeply lost and broken and maybe he is using sex as a way to feel better. Maybe the sex addiction is confusing him for his love for me. It stills hurts back its disgusting. I never thought he would have a sex addiction, but something is seriously wrong with him and after the humiliated, the pain, and the hurt, I deeply concerned for him. All I can do is pray for this pain, and forgive, even though he has hurt me. He needs help and he doesn’t look like himself. I know he has slept around, but there’s no telling with how many women. I know he did me wrong, he feels like I deserved. Its like he wants nothing to do with me, but my father says he moved away from everyone because he is ashamed of what he is doing and he loves me that is why he left so he wouldn’t hurt me anymore. What do I do? Im still deeply in love with him, but I have to live my life, Its like he’s pushing me away and he wants this divorce so he can pretty much sleep around. People keep saying once he wakes up and tries to get back with me, its going to be too late. What do I do? Should I even care? The way that he looked at me the other weekend, he looked at me like I was so beautiful, but he got mad bcuz I introduced him as my ex and when I said this my father in law, he said well if you’re going to be like that, then he is your ex father in law. Comments like that. I still care, what do I do?

big rift in our relationship esp when he d go out with them& conveniently not invite me, or when he d hug up on them &talk dirty, or kiss them(on the cheek). bizarre at some points but really good show!!! Summary: Four hansome
guys get to live in a gorgeous mansion for free – on the condition that
they turn the land lady’s niece into a "lady". They soon find this is no
easy task as she is a gothic, horror movie freak.

Nagasarete Airantou is sorta romantic-ishy: Ikuto ran away from
home after he had a fight with his father. He boards and ship only
to find himself shipwrecked on and isolated island containing only
girls.

I my me strawberry eggs- its about a guy that dresses up as a
female teacher and a girl who is superbly generous and how they
fall inlove. only 13 episodes.

shugo chara- This is a cute/girly anime. It is about an intimate girl
who’s outside apearance is "cool and spicy" She is on a quest to
find her true self. Amongst her quest she finds herself with some
cute fairie egg things called charas. She aslo finds herself being
an important character in a new quest. The quest to find the legendary
embryo. This is an action packed and funny romance and she is a girl
with many loves or so it is said.
-phew… that was long…Geez. Im so wierd! Here I go
talking to myself agian. Even wierder… why am I writing this down?
-I dunno… Anyways its 44 episodes (It think…)

Death Note- This may not be romance but it is about shinigami and is an
awesome anime. Definately worth watching.

Pretear- This is about a girl and her quest to save the world. At the same
time it is about falling inlove.

Lovely Complex- Romance/comedy/school life/drama. Also one of my
favorites. I absolutely love this anime. It starts of with a bet. Who can find
A boyfriend/girlfriend the fastest! In the end, I don’t think they even
remember the promise. Anyways this is a must see!

Karin K. – one of my favorites/… love it Although the main characters were
kids, I gave it a chance. And i was right for that because this is one of the
best animes ever, plus, it has a good theme song! I’ve watched this twice.

Full moon wo Sagashite- This one is my new favorite. The main character
is a twelve year old girl whos dream is to sing. The story is about how she
bends the rules and follows her dream. And its also about love. Its 52
episode and it WORTH watching. It just gets so dramatic in the end.
I actually cried and I don’t cry often. I LOVE THIS.

Shuffle- finished This is also mature viewers. The main character is a guy.
He has about 7 or so girls that are in love with him. He has to pick one, but
He is one of those guys that are just to sentimental for their own good.

Bokura Ga Ita- drama/Romance/comedy – This is for people who like there
romance about the ups and downs, the bumps, and all about love. Although
I typically only watch romance animes that have more than one guy a girl,
I watched this one because I just couldn’t stop after the first episode.

Rosario Vampire- 2nd season in October 2008 This is for mature people.
It is definitely a good dramatic romance about a a human in a monster
school. Theres a twist that you find out it the first episode that i just love!

Fruit Basket- Its great i love it! I was so sad when there wasn’t a second seasonl,
but its worth it. its about the twelve zodiac members, the cat,
and a girl named Tohru Honda and how she individualy helps each one.
by the way, i’ve seen this anime series 3 times so far.

Ouran high school host club- About a girl who was mistaken as a boy.
The high school host club found this out early in the show. Somehow
ended it up with her acting like a boy and disguising herself pretty well.
This is about which of the boys in the club she falls in love with. Well it
doen’t really have alot of romance and it doen’t state who she falls inlove
with, but it isquite entertaining and had a good rating.
I’ve watched this twice.

Peach Girl- An extremely dramatic anime where a girl is stuck to choose
between the 2 guys she loves. Worth watching even though the
description was shorter than others. Ive watched this twice.

Pita Ten. This is about an angel who can’t do anything right
and a devil that can’t do anything bad. Ive watched this twice.

kare Kano-This is about a girl who stives to be perfect and
not so perfect guy meet and end up falling inlove

Marmalade boy-This is entertaining. Its about a girl whos parents
got divorced and remarried and are all living in the same house.
The other couple had a son her age. The guys is supposingly really hot.
It is abouta story about true love.

Kamikaze kaito jeanne- I loved this so much. Its about a theif.
The Romance grows deeper as the story goes along.

Fushigi Yuugi- I really do love this anime. It is about how a girl saves
the world of the four gods and her world. Problems arise when she
and her best friend fall inlove with a charcter in a book.

Well we have been seperated for about 5 months now…..But now i want her back..!! Well it all starts with her parants, they just kept interfearing in our relationship.. Once in a men locker room of a golf course a mobile rang, everybody stopped to listen. The man picked up the phone and on the line was a lady "Darling i saw a very beautiful dress its only for Rs50,000, can i buy it?

Everyone at the locker room started staring at the man, after sometime the man shouted "Does anyone knows the owner of the phone?"

One fat guy – goes to a popular GYM in Bangalore sees an ad for a new

gym guaranteeing to reduce anyone’s weight by 5, 10 or 20 kilograms on

the first day. So he goes and tells them he wants to lose 5 kg. They

lead him into a huge gym with all kinds of ropes and parallel bars and

ladders and tell him to wait a minute.

He’s standing there when on the far side of the gym a door opens and

out steps a beautiful girl, with a sign saying "If you catch me, I’m

yours."

He starts running, and just as he gets close, she starts picking up speed.

Before he knows it, he’s running all over the gym, up the ladders,

down the ladders, across the parallel bars, here and there. And just

as he’s about to catch the blonde, pop, she disappears through a door.

In comes the management who lead him to the showers, and then weigh

him. Sure enough, he lost exactly 5kg.

He’s back on the street and starts to think.

"God, I was so close to catching her. If I had a little more time…

So he races back to the gym and says, "I want to lose 20 more kg."

"No problem," says the manager.

Again he is led to the large gym. This time he’s standing by the door

when it opens. Out comes a Gorilla with a sign, "If I catch you, you’re

mine."

"READING THIS JOKE"

A kid was playing with his newly bought play train. After every turn was completed the kid stopped the train and shouted, "Station aa gaya hai! Jis ULLU KE PATHEY ko utarna hai utar jaey!"

Then he let the train go on the round and stopped it again at the same place. He shouted, "Station aa gaya hai! Jis ULLU KE PATHEY ko utarna hai utar jaey!"

And so it went for sometime. Everytime the train stopped the kid would scream the same sentence. His Dad, sitting near him, got a little worried about the kid using bad language. He took the train away from him and scolded the child, "Don’t talk like that!"

The kid sat silently for sometime and Dad couldn’t bear to see the sad innocent face. He returned the train back to him saying, "Now son, don’t talk like that again."

So here is my story. I had known this girl for past one year "intermittently" . She is Korean. First time we broke up with no reason. She just stopped calling! 3 months later she calls me and says that she was going through some bad time as she had to take care of her studies and other personal things. I gave her a second chance. We went out for nearly two months. And during that time we "did it" only twice – Now that was not the issue mmm.. perhaps it was to an extent but not entirely. I did tell her that I like her and she knew that but never expressed her feelings towards me or avoided the topic. I really did romance her a lot but I always felt she was not giving in as much to the relationship as I was. Well a point comes when you feel that you have tried enough..and so I stopped calling her. She did try once to reach me but I did not return the call. We did not connect for two months. She calls me last week again. Shall I give her a third chance?
Some one asked what is the point of me saying "she is korean". I am not sure. I always felt that she has some sort of weird fascination towards "white guys". Btw I am not white. I got from her comments that they dig white guys back in Korea or atleast all girls want to date one. But she never expressed this openly. But one could tell..
One more thing – I must confess I was attracted to her and still am. Although I do not have burning "feelings" for her or anything. Someone said – that I should give her a third chance if I like her. But I do not want to give her another chance because "only" I like her. I want to make sure she carries the same interest.

How do they just get over it and easily move on and start liking other girls so fast? How do they honestly get over a girl they really did care for and love?

If they had so many memories and were so close.. how do you just forget that and find someone else? Do they honestly forget? Do they honestly just stop loving the girl like that? Or will they always love her? Just… how do they do it?

I love my boyfriend very much. He is sweet to me and treats me so great. Sometimes I feel though that it is fake. Like he doesn’t know how to deal with me other than being sugary sweet. We have been together since the end of our senior year of high school, almost 4 years ago. He isn’t motivated towards life really though, and he often lets an immature side of him take over. He gets MAD about the silliest things sometimes, and it really really gets on my nerves.

I am an outdoor person who grew up in the country and he is from a big suburb. The older we get, the more apparent these things are. He isn’t interested in spending the day at the lake and I always want to go. We don’t share as many common interests as we used to. He likes to listen to old rock and roll, and I like that too, but if I bring any electronic music home, he never wants to listen to it or if we do, he picks it apart because it isn’t hard enough. He is a great musician and dreams of making that his career, but he doesn’t take any active steps towards it.

He has a warrant for not having insurance or registration or inspection and couldn’t pay the ticket. His parents offered to pay it all for him in exchange for him coming out and helping them fix up their new house, and he won’t do it. I have to cart him around everywhere. If I really cared about him deep inside, wouldn’t I feel more patience for him? I am confused as to why I get mad about these things. I try to help him, but he won’t fully accept it. I guess he is lazy?

He and I have lived together the whole time we have been together. There have been a couple of times were he betrayed my trust with a couple of other girls in the beginning of our relationship, and I simply can’t let that go. I don’t think he actually like slept with them, but there was still emotional cheating and him sneaking behind my back that hurt me so badly.

When we argue or have serious talks, sometimes I bring those times up because they still eat away at me inside and he gets mad at me and says that I am bringing up old stuff that isn’t relevant anymore. That it is old news. It shouldn’t matter anymore because so much time has passed.

He doesn’t know this, but I thought that if I did what he did to me behind his back, that I would feel even and better about it. I don’t. Now I feel like I have ruined the relationship on my end, and he has no idea I flirted over text with an ex for a while. The ex and I met up, but I just didn’t want to take it further in real life, so I didn’t.

Can I have a normal relationship with him ever again now that we both have emotionally betrayed each other? He is so perfect for me in so many ways, but I feel like there is a silent black cloud lingering overhead constantly. We’re only 21. Should I end this relationship and start from scratch with another man? Should I try to stick it out with my boyfriend and see if time indeed does heal wounds?

I am a historic novelist, and I try to write books which uphold certain standard of morality. I do not believe in sex before marriage, and I try to uphold my beliefs in my works. That is why, I think, I became a target of a low tabloid called "Daily Beacon". They publish scandalous stories and photos, and I ended there as well. It said: "The girls in her historical novels always keep their legs crossed until they’ve got a ring on their fingers. But her private life is rather different." They said that I had a lot of lovers and a "torrid past", hinted that I had countless night stands and sex in my Jacuzzi. "He latest Casanova, so far unnamed, is said to be a married man who’s been seen leaving in the wee small hours." It’s an extremely degrading, humiliating, and misleading article. I don’t have any lovers. I save myself for marriage. This article ruined my reputation and my book sales dropped considerably. What should I do?
