i’ve installed the game and i click play and it goes to a screen with a background that looks like a sims town and things pop up talking about the different games included in the pack.ex. it would say this for the sims making magic "the magicians are getting ready to bring fun and excitment to your sims life, please wait while the curtain rises".but these things will keep on popping up and it will never actually let me play the game.i know that the sims is a large game and needs sometime to load so i let it load for an hour.this is the third time i have tried to play the game and nothing different happened.so i clicked on the question mark instead of play and then i clicked on the easy info button, this and more would pop up but this is what i think could be contributing to it:

Operating System:

–Sorry in advance for the length. As I sad, be a real (wo)man and read it all!! I really need help on this :/

Have you ever been trying to write a book and then gotten depressed because someone has said its similar to something else?

I can promise that I havent read Harry Potter, and its also really depressing that my friend has compared my story to it because HP is so popular. I don’t want to be compared when I’m published, because I don’t want my book scrutinized.

There are these similarities, supposedly:
1. My story has a magic school
2. My magicians use wands
3. My story involves immortality and souls

It’s disheartening and I don’t want to lose my motivation to write, because I’ve spent years creating my fantasy world and I have weaved up the plot, characters and everything COMPLETELY myself

Things in my defense are:
1. My story is set in the 16-17th century, and the school is simply like a regular magic school in a fantasy book, like plenty of other books, not some hidden place in our day and age. The school is also not so important to the plot (important enough to be necessary but not directly relevant to my main story — only two chapters are set there)

2. I have an innovative magic system that I think is quite fresh, and wands are necessary, so I can’t change them, and there’s no shouting out of words or anything (I dont want to reveal this)

3. Immortality and Souls are also crucial to the story, and are the driving force of some the antagonists. I did not know HP had immortality in it, but I’m sure Rowling isnt the first person to use either of these. I’ve thought up ways for my characters to be immortal

Could you please tell me what you think about these things? Soften it if you have to lol.

Also, in my story, when a body/vessel is damaged enough their soul will escape. This is ‘death’. One of the antagonists is a man with his soul stapled to his body with magic. His body heals near-instantly, and so if he’s ‘killed’ he won’t ‘die’ because his soul remains til his body is functioning again — making him immortal (as he just gets back up). That’s not like Voldemort, is it?

He’s not the only immortal, but the only one that might be similar.
Thanks in advance folks (y)

Astrologers in the Bible… The Lord Jesus is the only ONE that can Tell the Future.. Dividers of the heavens Daniel 1:20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm. Daniel 2:27 and 28 Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, and soothsayers, shew unto the king; But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known the king Neb-u-chad-nez’-zar what shall be in the latter days. They dream, and the visions of thy head upon they bed, are these; Isaiah 47:1 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the groud: there is no throne O daughter of the Chal-de;-ans: for though shalt no more be called tender and delicate. Isaiah 47: 13 Thou art wearied in the multitude of they counsels, Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee. Isaiah 47: 14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame; there shall not be a coal of warm at, nor fire to sit before it Daniel 4: 7 Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chal-de’-ans, and the soothsayers: and I told the dreams before them; but they did not make known unto me the interpretation thereof. Daniel 5: 7 and 8 The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chal-de’-ans, and the soothsayers. And the king spake, and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whosoever shall read this writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom. Then came in all the king’s wise men: but they could not read the writing, nor make known to the king the interpretaton thereof.
The bible say some people will dream dreams and old men heart would fail them because of this….

Some will phrophecey, Yes I didnt say that, but to pay for your future to be told is a differant story…

Just wondering if the show had improved much since the first scathing reviews. I hope it has, I think CA has revived magic, made it ‘cool’ and I would really like to see the show do well- it would raise the bar for all magicians, making all magic better and more innovative. Just curious…
Thanks.
