I was with my ex boyfriend for 2 and 1/2 years when we finally got engaged in the summer of last year. Least then two weeks go by when I discover that my so called soul mate has cheated on me with a stripper. We broke up and I haven’t really healed since our relationship. I stopped dating since then because I didn’t want to bring this baggage into another relationship but I really don’t know how to recover.
I’m calling it "Destiny’s Dance". I’m not sure how relevant it is though. Its about this woman Bronte Ronriquez. She moves to Sacramento so that she can teach at sacramento state. her sister who is always trying to set her up lives there and keeps trying to take her out and introduce her to people. But she is really interested in the next door neighbor. She doesn’t say anything because her sister and he seem to hit it off before she has a chance to take a second glance. Her sister is works as a stripper in a club named Magic City. She has a stalker that has been following her for a while. Because she makes good money she has twenty four hour watch on her apartment and he can never get close enough to even look in the window. Anyway he follows her to her sisters house one day and her sister isn’t home she is somewhere around obviously but not there. He comes in does the regular pic the lock blah blah and rapes and kills her. Her sister finds her the neighbor comforts her and what now?
1. I had the magical ability to go anywhere in the world by flushing myself down a toilet & traveling through the plumbing system at light speed. I just had to concentrate on the address & repeat it along with the word "travel" over & over whilst standing in front of any toilet, & soon enough I was able to just dive in like you would off of a diving board & go right down the drain. 2. I’m in the shower, & there’s a 15ft stripper pole going from floor to ceiling right in the middle of it. The soap is on a shelf 12ft up so I have to climb to reach it. It’s wet, slippery & very difficult, so I keep shimmying up and sliding down. Making no progress, but I start to get sexually aroused b/c I’ve got my legs wrapped around it, and you know…I won’t be graphic but it gets a bit erotic/noisy & then suddenly there’s someone looking through the glass shower door at me going "wtf are you doing?" and I’m mortified. 1. Early on things went smooth & I was alone, but the second part of the dream was different. I found myself in a public bathroom w/ 2 other women who had the same power as me, & we were in a frantic rush to get into the toilets & go somewhere, as if we were being chased by something & needed to escape. I had problems trying to stuff my backpack down the drain ahead of me (which I hadn’t done before), & I couldn’t concentrate enough so the "spell" wasn’t working & I felt afraid. I do remember repeating the address though, and it was full of sixes. The #6 was very distinct in my mind.
2. The person was unknown to me but I got the feeling she had been woken by my ruckus & was annoyed. It’s not important who it was – roommate, houseguest, etc. Point is the shock it gave me & the shame/embarrassment it made me feel afterwards were quite palpable.
That’s all I remember, but I feel like the two dreams are connected b/c of the common bathroom setting maybe. Any ideas?
My husband and I have been married for 7 years we have a little boy together. We were separated for 9 months and he came back to visit me and my son recently so we could work on our family.
My husband has this female best friend that he’s known for 20+ years he knew her since school. He said he and her never dated or had a relationship besides being friends. This woman told my husband that I cut her off from him back in the day when I never said that. Since my husband never introduced me and her together I introduced myself to her via email (he was there when I sent the email and he knew every word I wrote) and she twisted my words around making me look like a bad person and my husband felt the same way saying I cut him off from her and he also resents me for it!!! I told my husband I am your wife you knew everything I said to her via email I never cut y’all off and that you always had her contact info the least you could do is defend me. He said he didn’t defend me cuz he didn’t wanna be with me anymore I told him you were still with me at that time and you are still with me now! He said I’m controlling and jealous and that I have trust issues and if our marriage is going to survive I have to trust him!
When he came back to visit us, I found a couple of emails he wrote to another woman (I was using his laptop one day). I did some research and it turns out this woman is an internet webcam stripper from iFriends whom he befriended. He spent lots of money on her. He is a guillable man and believes everything the stripper tells him. I told him that he needs to quit talking to this webcam stripper because it’s harming our marriage and he told me to leave her out of it and that he had already spent alot of money on her around 00 for her private shows. He still emailed her wishing her a Happy New Year. He said he only considers her as a friend and isn’t interested seeing her naked anymore and he said that she is a good person and she gave him the emotional support he needed when we were separated and he told me he doesn’t like when I refer this woman as a webcam stripper. And then he said he doesn’t want to lose her as a friend and if I tell him to quit contact with her he will just become more distant to me. I asked him "Why should befriend a stripper what do I have in common with her besides you saw us both naked??!"
I do not know what to do anymore I am trying to save my marriage and stop my divorce but I feel I can’t do it without his help. I had already filed for divorced and he also filed when he was served divorce papers. We both told our divorce lawyers to hold on to our papers so we can try to salvage our marriage but I feel like I am the only one who’s trying on my own.
I went to counseling. I read lots of relationship and marriage books. I try to be the best wife he says I’m beautiful and sexy but apparently I am not good enough for him.
I need advice help!
i do not plan on dating when i am still married even when I’m separated i don’t want to committ adultery.
Why is it that republican and religious and secular conservatives continue make family values an election issue. The issue of family values and morality was ONE of the hallmark reasons for the Republican take-over of congress and it was also used as a theme during Bush’s first run for office.

There are many, many, many more. I know that I am going to be accused of being repub-coserv-basher. I am not, I know the democrats have just as many scandals if not more. However, I think that the whole PLATFORM OF CONSERVATIVE FAMILY VALUES IS A DISINGENIOUS strategy to rally votes and to swing elections. THIS LIST DEMONSTRATES THE FACT THAT NO ONE PRACTICES WHAT THEY PREACH!!!
I also believe that we are all human and everyone makes mistakes, but it is VERY HYPOCRITICAL to impose ideas that these “cultural-icons” don’t keep!
