Boy Problems help me! plz! ?

I had a boyfriend last year, and I broke up with him after a nine month relationship. I finally broke up with him, he loved me & he told me he cried every night. I didn’t really realize how much I actually liked him. Then over the summer I never thought about him, then school started and it hurt because i knew that he didn’t like me anymore. I realized I still loved him, so I told him, and he asked me out, and that night he broke up with me over text. It really hurt..
I moved on, and i got another boyfriend but i realized i still loved my ex, so i broke up with my boyfriend because i thought it was wrong to have a crush while going out with someone.
My ex always texts me, sends me love forwards and he always says sweet things, but i don’t know what to do, because i don’t want to come right out and tell him i like him again. because we are supposedly "good friends", how can i get him back forever, and keep him and not make the same mistake?

Ok here it is this time…I am madly in love with this guy but right now our relationship is very very close to be broken up. In the beginning we were so in love and did so much together so to speak and were always talking about anything and everything and he would say the cutest things to me that to him probably meant nothing but to me, meant alot. and omg the way he looked at me, no-one has ever looked at me the way he did/does! The only thing is he’s been rather depressed these past few months and has changed a little bit, i still love him all the same though, but he doesnt talk no where near as much and he no longer does or says the cute and sweet things to me. because he no longer does this i havent felt as secure in the relationship and have found that i’ve gotten really jealous over any girl he talks to and i realise that my insecurities have been a nightmare for him to deal with because i do just tell him when something bothers me and i have asked what he’s been doing or who he’s talking to and i realise maybe thats not very right of me either. I want to change though. But 2 days ago we had a discussion about where we are in our relationship and he said that he cares for me ALOT but he doesnt feel the love for me anymore…as you could imagine Im devastated and know that I am the cause for that happening. I am willing to change and to try my god damn hardest at not getting jealous or telling him things i guess that may anger him like that. I plan on re-joing this thing we both did together in the hope that it will bring back the old times and we start fresh and he becomes interested in me again…I guess Im just wondering, do you think theres any chance of us regaining what we once had and me gaining back his love for me? or do you think its over and Ive blew it?? Please and Thank You…ANY advice is good, any tips, any ideas on how to win him back, anything….i just want him back! xXxXx

How can I make him fall in love again?????

My bf and I have been together for 8 1/2 years. We have been living together for 2 years now. I am 24 and he is 26. I want him to write me love letters and do sweet things that he used to do before and he says he misses sweet things I used to do like remember special dates,etc. He told me that I have to make him want to do those things again. EX: When I was younger, we lost contact with one another but I wrote him a letter everyday and kept them to give to him when I saw him of what I did that day. He thought that was the sweetest thing a girl had ever done for him.
I believe that over time both of us have changed and now we miss some of the young things we used to do. Our sex life is fun and great. But we discussed and we miss things like-catching the bus together, he misses me dressing how I did when I was younger(in the summer), letters,etc. I just want simple ideas to help our relationship out or show him that I am thinking of him or that I still care about our relationship as much as now as I did then. I used to draw pictures of our names and hearts-recently I drew one and his reply was- I think that just made me love you more!!!!!! I just want new ideas.
