Is it legal in the US to post nude pictures or videos of an ex girlfriend if she gave her consent to take them? Not that i have an ex that i want revenge on or anything but I’m curious. Basically on the guideline that she knew she was either being taped or photographed.

We would need to see them first to make a sound judgment..
Consent to take pictures and consent to post pictures are separate things.
The photographer owns the copyright to the videos and pics. They can do what they want with them but if it is sold for money a % must be paid to the models or they can sue.
Taking & posting are NOT the same.
You can get in trouble for it. She probably never gave consent to post them on the internet.
Did she give you written permission to put up on the internet?
Yes, as long as she was 18 when the pictures were taken, and you aren’t posting them for profit.
Only if she also gave her consent to have them posted AND she’s over 18 (and was over 18 when they were taken) AND they are not for profit, unless you have a contract in writing. Basically, unless you have a signed release from her, don’t post them.
If you took the pictures and videos with your own camera then you own them and can do whatever you want with them. If you post them, you are going to look like a real creep.
You may own the pictures but if you don’t have some sort of release from the model then you can’t do anything you want with them. People have privacy rights. You could be sued for damages.
