I want to do something with my husband for our anniversary without using a lot of money. Ideas?
My husband isn’t much of a romantic. I really just want to do something fun and nice with him for our anniversary. He works so we will only have about 5 hours of time before he has to go to sleep. I recently lost my job so I can’t afford to take him to do anything I would like to do with him. I want to do something to at least make our anniversary special. One minor thing he works nights so doing his favorite dinner is hard because he gets home at 9:00 am and I am just waking up. Then he has to be in bed by 2 and I don’t want to spend our anniversary cooking instead of spending time together. It is our first anniversary of being married. I don’t want it to be a bummer.

i would say a bj. unless you have some cake mix or both that works too. i would say campins fun but you guys don’t have a lot of time right
My husband is always happy with food, being naked with me, and sex. He says the rest is whatever I want, but food, nakedness, and sex is where it’s at.
I was thinking a simple breakfast in bed, both of you naked, and you can take it from there.
BTW – all of our best anniversaries over our 22 years of marriage have been the ones where we spent the least money because they are simple and we are more creative.
Congrats and have fun.
How about getting up a little early and making him a real special breakfast for when he gets home. Then you could make a coupon book for him with little coupons like free night with the guys or sexual favour of your choice, massage, kisses, watch what you want on tv. You can make this cute, or sexy or funny and decorate them with sparkles whatever, its a cute idea and totally free. You could also plan a picnic lunch with him even if you have to have the picnic on the living room floor. What will make it most special is the thought and the fact that you care. Happy Anniversary!
Picnic or bubble bath together with some wine
Meet him at the door, take whatever it is he have in his hand and lead him to the bedroom, have is bath water ready, wash him off, let him sit for a few minutes, have a light simple dinner waiting with candle light, take time back to the room, give him a rub down, and make love to him. Have something sexy to wear or give him a lap dance.
You could do a romantic treasure hunt, that’s perfect for an anniversary. Or perhaps treating him to a lovely day out to the place you first met…?
A bubble bath, complete with wine and candles and music.
Just try to get up early, anyways that\’s just for a day and prepare a good breakfast for him. A wine and a candlelight breakfast for a change. LOL! Best of luck or you may treat him a massage before he goes to sleep.
I have to agree with Karen, a good bubble bath with wine and candles is perfect. It is always the thought that counts.
Money doesn’t have to be an issue.
Even a good dinner, memories, and laughs can be just as good. A massage and some music is nice too. If he works a lot the romance in a relaxing mood works best.
Good luck and enjoy!
